CALLAHAN, Fla. — A Florida mom is fuming after her 4-year-old son was kicked out of preschool because of something she posted to her own Facebook page.

Ashley Habat doesn’t think her 4-year-old son should be punished for what she wrote.

Habat said her son, Will, was late for school on picture day at his private Christian preschool.

When they arrived, she told the school that she thought it didn’t give parents enough notice for picture day. The school said a note was sent out in  his folder a week before the picture day.

Habat says she took to Facebook to vent — she never dreamed anyone at the school to see her post.

“Why is it that every single day there is something new I dislike about Will’s School? Are my standards really too high or are people working in the education field really just that ignorant?” the post read.

She says she…

A California couple kept a pretty great secret from their son for two years.  There was a small door that led to an unfinished crawl space connected to his room.  His parents knew about the space when they moved into the home when the boy was 2, but didn’t reveal the secret until he his 4th birthday.

They completely redid the crawl space and transformed it into a play room.  New floors were put in, along with bright colors on the wall, and toys just for this special room.  All the work was done while he was at school, so he never knew it was going on.

On his birthday the secret room was revealed with a treasure hunt that led him to move his dresser, with help from his parents.  The room was a big hit, and he declared it his “treasure room.”

His mom, Sarah Goer, shared the details of the special…

On Tuesday night, Fox News’s Megyn Kelly was conducting an interview about the death of American journalist James Wright Foley, when a video update showing live footage from Ferguson, Missouri took over the screen.

Kelly was not to pleased about this news judgement.

“Hold on…I realize…I realize something is happening in Ferguson, but we’re talking about something important here, so can you at least split screen the video,” Kelly said.

“The protesters and the police are clashing again, they’re clashing again. But we’re talking about the dead, the death of an American who was beheaded, and Pete deserves his say.”

A Virginia sheriff’s deputy shoots his teenage daughter when he mistook her for an intruder reports The Washington Post.

Easton McDonald’s home security system alerted him to the garage door opening. McDonald heard noises coming from the garage, and when the door opened he shot his weapon.

Upon hearing the girl’s voice, he realized he had shot his 16-year-old daughter that was sneaking back into their home.

The girl was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.

Charleigh Matice took the bun off of her Southern Style Chicken Sandwich to put mayonnaise on it, and was shocked by what she saw. Matice told WCTI12 in Morehead City, N.C. that she found a swastika written in butter on the bun.

Matice says that her grandfather had fought in World War II and the anti-Semitic symbol really offended her.

“Many people died because of that symbol and it’s not something that should be taken lightly. It’s not something that should be thrown around,” Matice said.

She confronted employees, who offered to replace the sandwich, but Matice decided she would prefer to just have her money back.

“I really didn’t have an appetite at that point,” She said.

The restaurant released a statement saying that the employee has been terminated.

“We do not tolerate that kind of behavior at McDonald’s, and it’s not what we stand for personally” read the statement from owner Dulcy Purcell.
